Second Chance Sheltie Rescue, Inc. is an non-profit volunteer organization that helps unwanted or abandoned Shelties. Second Chance Sheltie Rescue does not have a shelter for the public to visit - all dog visit activity must be scheduled in advance. All Shelties are given necessary veterinary care, spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and their temperament evaluated.
All adoptive homes are carefully interviewed to ensure the best possible match between Sheltie and family. A securely fenced yard is a requirement to adopt.

Invisible fences are not considered "secure" fencing. Tie-outs are not considered acceptable for use at any time.

Our Adoption Donation is $250 for dogs over 16 weeks, $350 for puppies under 16 weeks. Senior Sheltie adoption donations are variable depending on age. All dogs are spayed/neutered before adoption, HW tested, HW treated if necessary, dentals if needed, and all vaccinations.
